These specialty coatings are aqueous-based direct food contact overprint varnishes intended for application in natural fiber paper and carton board packaging. Application is either printing inks transfer of Flexography or Gravure printing or paper mill coating (rod, air blade).
In product consultation on the correct product selection, these coatings impart water resistance and oil resistance to paper and boards, removing the need entirely for the final product to contain any plastic.
