SunTrio Daimetal is a range of conventional curing sheetfed Inks for the printing of metal packaging.
These inks are formulated to be printed directly onto the metal or onto appropriate white enamel, clear or colored size.

- Excellent Retorting Resistance: With the proper coating system, the SunTrio Daimetal range shows excellent retorting resistance, making it the ideal choice to print three-piece food cans, as well as all types of closures and ends.
- Good Adhesion and Reactivity: Thanks to this, cracking resistance of this range is outstanding. SunTrio Daimetal is also suitable for the printing of general line cans, including those with an expansion process in the manufacturing.
- Concentrated Pigment: All base inks are formulated with a high concentration of pigment, and all are single pigmented to ensure repeatability. Thus, the chosen palette for this range will allow the printer to achieve all the colors needed in the metal packaging market.

Applications:
SunTrio Daimetal Series offers the printers a wide range of colors to use in external decoration of cans and other jobs. Daimetal inks are not suitable for direct food contact materials. Some examples (canned items, etc.) shown below:
SunTrio Daimetal Series offers excellent press performance and has been developed following the formulation criteria in the latest version of Nestle Guidance for Packaging Inks. The raw materials included in their composition have been chosen from the Annexes 1 and 6 of the Swiss Packaging Inks Ordiance SR 817.023.21.
